LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Vice President Kamala Harris arrives in Las Vegas late Wednesday morning for a short visit.

The VP will arrive at Harry Reid International Airport around 11:20 am. The First Gentleman, Dough Emhoff, will accompany her.

Around 12:30, Harris will deliver remarks to members of Culinary Workers Union Local 226. She’ll be joined by Acting U.S. Labor Secretary Julie Su. The Vice President and Ms. Su will also meet with culinary members. The trip is designed to specifically highlight and celebrate the union’s recent success in contract negotiations with major Las Vegas Strip properties.

Ms. Harris expected to leave Las Vegas around three in the afternoon for her flight back to Washington, D.C.

This visit marks her ninth to Nevada since she and President Joe Biden’s inaugurations.
