LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Local shopping and lifestyle centers in the Las Vegas valley are partnering with major non-profit organizations to host community blood drives this August to support patients in need.
The first drive will take place in Henderson at The District at Green Valley Ranch on Thursday, Aug. 20, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Organized in partnership with the American Red Cross, the donation site will be located in the Whole Foods parking lot.

A second drive is scheduled in Las Vegas at Tivoli Village on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Vitalant will host the indoor drive at 330 S. Rampart Blvd., Suite 160, located across from The Piazza and next to Lexicon Bank.
Organizers at Tivoli Village encourage donors to schedule appointments in advance, though walk-ins are welcome.
Appointments can be scheduled online on the Vitalant website by entering the blood drive code L1Q29, or by calling 877-258-4825.
All donors at the Tivoli Village site must present a valid photo ID.
