LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating a deadly southwest Las Vegas Valley crash.
According to LVMPD, on May 15, just after 8 p.m., the collision occurred near Cimarron and Blue Diamond Road.
Evidence collected indicated a 2015 Nissan Altima sedan was reportedly driving recklessly through the intersections.
Police say the sedan failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a 2024 Ram 2500 truck that obeyed the traffic signs in the area.
The 40-year-old female driving the sedan was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police report the death marks the 68th deadly traffic accident in Metro’s jurisdiction.
