LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A valley nonprofit helping families in need is getting a big boost.

Baby’s Bounty is celebrating a big donation from United Health Plan of Nevada Medicaid. It’s committing more than $175,000 to Baby’s Bounty. This helps ensure another year of diapers and supplies to those in the valley.

The Henderson diaper bank serves 500 to 700 families each month, officials say. Since 2020, it’s helped nearly 50,000 families in Nevada and has given out nearly 4 million diapers and 6 million wipes.

“I’m a native from Las Vegas,” said Kelly Maxwell, CEO and executive director of Baby’s Bounty. “Serving the community that I love is the greatest honor of my life. Getting to do this with my time, talents and energy is really special.”
