LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A 19-year-old motorcyclist has life-threatening injuries after a crash in North Las Vegas, police say.
Officials with the North Las Vegas Police Department said the crash happened just after 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Lake Mead Boulevard and McDaniel Street. Police said it involved a motorcyclist and a sedan.
Police say when officers arrived, they found a 19-year-old Hispanic man with life-threatening injuries. According to early investigation, he drove a Suzuki east on Lake Mead Boulevard and was making a left turn onto McDaniel Street, near Civic Center Drive.

Police say a crash happened when the driver of the sedan, traveling west on Lake Mead Boulevard, struck the front right corner of the motorcycle. Police say the sedan’s driver was a Hispanic woman in her 30s.
Police say there were no signs of impairment for either driver. The motorcyclist has been transported to UMC Trauma.
The NLVPD Major Collision Investigation Unit (MCIU) is investigating the incident, police say. No immediate details were provided about the woman’s condition.
