RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office has officially identified a body found on Mt. Rose Highway as Patricia Portella-Wright.
Portella-Wright’s body was found on Thursday.
The 48-year-old Kings Beach, California woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say her manner of death was homicide, with the cause being “multiple sharp force injuries.”
The case is being investigated by the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.
