LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – With smoky skies expected to continue this week in the valley, it’s good to keep indoor activities in mind.

Valley residents can find plenty of that at their local library, with 3D printers, virtual reality headsets, and free tutoring for students.

Also, Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is running some promotions for people signing up for a library card during National Library Card Signup Month, which takes place in September.

“You can win great prizes, including Vegas Golden Knights tickets, Las Vegas Raiders tickets, an exclusive t-shirt – you can’t get this anywhere else,” Ryan Simoneau with the library district told FOX5. “And, of course, some library swag, too.”

People signing up can also get gold VGK-themed library cards, and those who already have cards can swap theirs for it.
