LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Two people have been hospitalized after an east valley mobile home caught fire early Monday morning.
According to Clark County Fire Department, a mobile home caught fire around 1:05 a.m. in the 1700 block of North Gateway Road, near Owens and Lamb.
First crews arrived within a minute and began working to extinguish the fire, as well as search the building.
Three people were treated at the scene, while two people were transported to UMC Trauma for smoke inhalation.
Damage to the property is expected to be around $50-$100 thousand dollars, according to CCFD.
Crews from LVMPD, MedicWest Ambulance, NV Energy, and SW Gas also responded to the scene. NLVFD and LVFR also assisted in fighting the fire.
An investigation into the cause remains ongoing.
