LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A cold storm is moving through Southern Nevada this morning. Showers are forecast to pass through the Las Vegas Valley through 6 a.m. with a snow/rain mix in the forecast for Southern Nevada.
The best chance for some snow will be for areas around the far west Las Vegas Valley, the Pahrump Valley, and Indian Springs. This is not expected to be a high-impact snow event with the moisture moving through quickly early Thursday morning. As the showers move through, the wind will be picking up with gusts in the 35-45 mph range.
A dry weekend is in the forecast with temperatures gradually warming. Forecast highs are back in the upper 50s on Sunday with milder weather in the forecast for next week.
