LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating after a man was found shot in the northeast valley on Sunday morning.

According to LVMPD, officers responded to the 2600 block of North Hollywood Boulevard after receiving calls about a possible shooting. Arriving officers located a Black man in his mid-50s lying in the road, suffering from a gunshot wound.

The man would later die at the scene.

Investigators learned from witnesses that the victim was seen outside his vehicle, arguing with an unknown female about an unknown subject. At some point in the argument, a firearm was produced and the victim was shot.

Police add that the female then fled the area in an unknown vehicle. However, a description of the female was not immediately available, as the investigation is in its early stages.
