LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – While the A’s have plans to move to Las Vegas in a few years. The team is already looking to sell tickets for its new ballpark.

Starting this Friday, March 7, fans can join a waitlist to be the first season ticket holders when the ballpark officially opens in 2028.

The cost to join the waitlist $19.01, which some believe maybe paying tribute to the year the A’s were founded in 1901.

Those on the waitlist, as well as Aviators season ticket holders and current A’s season ticket members will get early access to buy season tickets before the general public.

The A’s say groundbreaking on the stadium will happen in the next few months, we expect to learn more about the stadium this week at the stadium authority meeting.

The A’s are getting ready for the team’s first season in Sacramento, but this weekend, they’ll be playing here for big league weekend.

If you can’t make it to the Las Vegas Ballpark, you can watch the A’s and diamondbacks on the Silver State Sports & Entertainment network on Saturday, and on FOX5 on Sunday.
