LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – UFC athletes visited the Cure 4 the Kids Foundation Thursday to unveil the new UFC-themed patient exam room and redesigned youth training center.
During the event, athletes met with patients, posed for photos and helped cut the ribbon on the newly revamped gym.
The new additions are part of UFCs five-year commitment to supporting children in Nevada battling pediatric cancer and rare diseases.
“It odes help put our struggle in perspective,” said Forest Griffin, former UFC light heavyweight champion. “There are more important things than a fight. This is an amazing thing.”
The Cure 4 the Kids Foundation serves over 7,000 patients each year
