LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Henderson police responded to a fatal two-vehicle crash Tuesday night on Lake Mead Parkway about half a mile east of the Lake Las Vegas entrance.
Officers arrived at approximately 8:25 p.m. One driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was transported to a local hospital. Each driver was the sole occupant of their vehicle, police said.
Lake Mead Parkway remains closed in both directions between Lake Las Vegas Parkway and the Lake Mead National Recreation Area entrance station. The closure is expected to remain for an extended period.
Drivers should avoid the area and plan alternate routes.
This is a developing story.
