Police said he drove a Subaru and was stopped at a red light at the intersection. He ignored the red light and drove into the path of the motorcyclist.
Geraldo was sent to UMC for medical clearance and would be arrested for DUI related charges.
According to his arrest report, LVMPD dispatch received reports that he could barely walk. When officers arrived at the scene, they found him “dazed and confused.”
Police said Geraldo admitted to driving the Subaru. He had bloodshot, watery and droopy eyes with a blank stare. His speech was mumbled and confused.
Officers say he claimed no injuries or illnesses. An officer noticed a white substance along his nostrils.
In an interview with his front passenger, she told police he was driving recklessly. The two got in an argument about it. She told him to stop but he refused.
While searching the car, an LVMPD sergeant located a clear plastic bag with a white, powdery substance near the driver’s seat controls.
Geraldo is due for a status check in Las Vegas Justice Court Thursday morning.
