LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Clark County Board of Commissioners on Wednesday approved a key portion of Bally’s development application, greenlighting plans for parking and podium structures to ensure safe pedestrian access to a planned stadium site.
The approved plans are designed to give the public a safe, direct path from public sidewalks and pedestrian bridges into the stadium.
However, proposed high-rise towers associated with Bally’s application were not considered or approved during Wednesday’s meeting.

Officials noted those structures have not yet received required clearance from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
County officials clarified that the development entitlements are tied to the land rather than the developer.
Should Bally’s ultimately opt not to move forward with the project, any future developer of the property would be able to utilize the same entitlements.
The remaining portions of Bally’s application will be heard by the Board at a later date.
