LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A body has been found as Henderson Police were looking for a missing person after a storm.
The body found stems from an investigation that started Tuesday, May 6, when the Las Vegas Valley underwent a storm. That day, Henderson Police and Fire first responded to Aloha Drive and Pueblo Avenue around 2:30 p.m. for a swift-water rescue.
First responders observed an adult man in the water, but he was quickly swept away. Until Tuesday morning, all attempts to find the man have not worked. The body has yet to be identified.

Henderson Police say the body found cannot be confirmed as the same man who was reported missing last week. Officials say there is no indication of foul play.
His identity will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office pending notification of next of kin.
“The Henderson Police Department would like to thank the Henderson Fire Department, Red Rock Search and Rescue, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Air Unit, and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Search and Rescue unit for their tireless efforts and collaboration throughout the search,” police said.
