CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) – The Nevada Secretary of State’s Office has received $27 million in in funding to continue the implementation of the VREMS system.
The system creates a centralized voter registration database and election management system across Nevada.
“Elections are the foundation of our democracy and this modernization to our election system continues to strengthen the confidence in Nevada’s safe, secure and accessible elections,” said Secretary Aguilar. “This investment will help maintain accurate voter rolls, increase the security of our technology and reduce administrative burdens on the counties.”
