LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — CVS told FOX5 its Nevada locations are now administering new COVID-19 vaccines after awaiting CDC’s approval, officials say.

CVS said it stopped distributing the old formula for COVID-19 late August in Nevada, Massachusetts and New Mexico. A spokesperson clarified that Nevada pharmacy laws prevented them from distributing vaccines in the state without approval from the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.
