LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — One person is dead and another is critically injured Monday morning after a crash in the southwest valley, police say.
According to Las Vegas Metro Police, around 12:35 a.m., a vehicle was speeding south on Buffalo Drive, while another vehicle was driving west on Twain. As the speeding vehicle passed Twain, it collided with the vehicle traveling west, resulting in two people being ejected from the vehicle as it rolled over.
Police say one was pronounced dead at the scene, and another was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Occupants of the vehicle traveling along Twain reported no injuries.
All lanes along Buffalo and Spring Mountain are currently blocked. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
