LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The suspect involved in a deadly stolen bus crash will continue to be held without bail, a Las Vegas judge ruled Tuesday.
Jalen Felton made his second appearance in court after being accused of stealing a Salvation Army bus in North Las Vegas last week. Police say he drove the bus across the valley and was briefly pursued by officers, until he ran a red light and hit and killed a motorcyclist.
Felton faces charges of reckless driving resulting in death, duty to stop at the scene of an accident, and disobeying a peace officer in Las Vegas. He also faces charges of kidnapping, grand larceny of a vehicle, and making a false statement to a public official in North Las Vegas.
