LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Nevada Highway Patrol responded to an injury crash Tuesday night on westbound 215 Beltway just east of Green Valley Parkway, and a second crash occurred in the same area shortly after the freeway reopened.
The first crash was reported at 7:59 p.m. and involved four vehicles. Medical units responded to the scene. No information was available on whether any parties were transported.
The I-215 reopened at 9:33 p.m.
Second crash blocks lanes
At 9:36 p.m. — three minutes after the freeway reopened — a second crash occurred at the same location. That crash involved two vehicles: a truck pulling a trailer and an SUV. The wreck is blocking the No. 2 and No. 3 travel lanes.
Nevada Highway Patrol was arriving on scene for the second crash as of the time of this report.
