LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A teacher’s assistant accused of dragging a special needs student down a school hallway is fighting the charges in court.
An attorney for Zachary May entered a not guilty plea for him Monday morning.

Police say multiple students saw May pull the child out of a classroom after the student refused to leave. An assistant principal told investigators that surveillance video shows the student being dragged about 30 feet.
May is charged with abuse of a vulnerable person and child abuse. He remains out of jail with a preliminary hearing set for March 10th.
