LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The date has been set for the Eastside Cannery to be demolished, according to Boyd Gaming Corporation officials.
Officials say the demolition date has been set for Thursday, March 5, at 2 a.m.
Organizers ask the public to refrain from traveling to the property. They say public viewing areas will not be available.
The Casino and Hotel has been closed since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, officials confirmed.

Officials have previously shared that they are in the process of selling the property for residential housing. Which they say they are still working on finalizing.
