(Gray News) — Corey Harrison of “Pawn Stars” is recovering after being involved in a serious motorcycle crash in Mexico.

According to People, the crash happened Jan. 26 in Tulum, Mexico, just days before his father, Rick Harrison, got married.

The crash reportedly caused Corey Harrison to miss the wedding as he was “fighting for his life” in the hospital.

According to a GoFundMe page set up for Corey Harrison, the crash left him with 11 broken ribs, a punctured lung, a concussion and internal bleeding.

A friend created the fundraiser, noting that Corey Harrison initially spent 14 days in the hospital before discharging himself — against medical advice — due to mounting bills.

But within hours of being home, Corey Harrison was in “excruciating pain.” The next day, his blood oxygen levels dropped dangerously low, and friends took him back to the hospital.

Corey Harrison then spent another 18 days in the hospital, where surgeons drained nearly 3 liters of blood from his chest cavity. He also underwent three “lifesaving” surgeries.

The fundraiser said Corey Harrison’s medical bills have surpassed $100,000, and he “emptied his entire bank account to cover what he could.”

Corey Harrison told TMZ he is no longer affiliated with “Pawn Stars,” which is filmed in Las Vegas, but he still receives some residual checks from reruns.

He told TMZ he is reluctant to ask fans for help, but said, “What am I going to do, fly out to Vegas and sell stuff? I can’t move from my recliner.”

The GoFundMe said that Corey Harrison is also hesitant to take painkillers after his brother, Adam, died in January 2024 at age 39 from a fentanyl overdose.

When asked about his son’s situation, Rick Harrison shared the following statement:

“I paid all of Corey’s medical bills long before he put the GoFundMe out. He is a grown man in his 40s and is responsible for how he handles his finances. It’s always nice to be paid back, but there is no repayment schedule in place.”
