LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A North Las Vegas father accused of kidnapping his 10‑month‑old daughter is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning.
Police say 39‑year‑old Roderick Duke took his daughter, Leilani Williams, on March 5 near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue. Several hours later, North Las Vegas police say Duke was taken into custody without incident, and the baby was unharmed.
Investigators say Duke was in an emotional crisis and had made threats to harm both himself and his daughter.

According to court records, Duke faces multiple charges, including first-degree kidnapping, child abuse or neglect, and domestic battery.
