LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — With St. Patrick’s Day coming up, a road safety organization is making sure everyone stays safe on Nevada roads.
The Nevada Zero Coalition will be offering discounted Lyft rides to users across the Las Vegas and Reno areas throughout the festive weekend.
Riders can take advantage of the $5 off one Lyft ride offer, starting on Saturday, March 14 at 5 p.m. through Wednesday, March 18 at 6 a.m.
To redeem, enter code ‘SAFERIDENV’ as a Lyft Pass when entering the form of payment.

The offer is available for the first 200 users, one ride per rider.
People planning to celebrate are urged to choose rideshare transportation if they’re not fit to drive.
“St. Patrick’s Day is a celebration for many Nevadans, but it is also a time when impaired‑driving crashes historically increase,” said Zero Fatalities Program Manager Anita Pepper. “Whether it’s alcohol, cannabis, or prescription medication, driving under the influence is impaired driving. The Zero Coalition urges everyone to plan ahead, celebrate responsibly, and choose a sober ride. Lives are on the line.”
