Between now and Monday, April 13, Sunset Road will be reduced to one lane each way between Eastern Avenue and Annie Oakley Drive from 8:00 p.m. To 5:00 a.m. each night. NDOT says no work will take place on Friday or Saturday nights.
Bridges in the area will also be impacted. The Pilot Drive and Grier Drive bridges over the Airport Connector will be narrowed to one side of each bridge overnight.
There will also be intermittent double lane closures on the Sunset Road bridge over the Airport Connector, but access to the Airport Connector on-ramp will remain open.
Transportation officials are asking motorists to slow down, use extra caution in work zones, and consider taking alternate routes.
