LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A YouTuber accused of a double murder on the Las Vegas Strip will remain behind bars after a judge denied his request for bail during a hearing on Thursday.
Lawyers for Manuel Ruiz, known online as “Sin City Manny,” filed a motion seeking reasonable bail last month, saying he acted in self-defense after an ongoing feud with Rodney Finley. On Thursday, the judge denied the request, saying prosecutors showed strong evidence and Ruiz is not eligible for bail.
Ruiz is charged with two counts of murder with the use of a deadly weapon in the June 2025 deaths of Finley and his wife, Tanisha Finley.

He has pleaded not guilty, and prosecutors have said they are considering seeking the death penalty. A jury trial is set for August.
