LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Downtown Summerlin will host its second annual Latin Heritage Parade on Wednesday, Sept. 16, beginning at 6 p.m. along Park Centre Drive.

The parade is presented by Minero General Contractor.

Event details

The Latin Heritage Parade celebrates the traditions, history and contributions of Latin communities through music, dance and cultural expression. The parade will feature local performers and artists showcasing cultures from countries including Mexico, Peru, Nicaragua, Colombia and others.

Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. along Park Centre Drive, with the parade starting at 6 p.m. The event is complimentary and open to the public.

Partnership with cultural association

“We’re pleased to welcome back the second annual Latin Heritage Parade and continue our partnership with Nevada Latino Arts and Culture Association,” said Halee Harczynski, senior marketing director of Downtown Summerlin. “This parade provides an opportunity to recognize and honor the rich traditions and contributions of the Latin culture while bringing families and our community together.”
