LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas police are investigating a deadly shooting in the Southeast Valley Friday night that left a man in his 50s dead.

Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said it happened near Missouri Avenue and Boulder Highway around 6:30 P.M.

Las Vegas police are investigating a homicide in the east valley Friday night.

In a late Friday night briefing, police said officers responded after hearing reports of shots fired as well as a car crashing into a nearby building. Police then learned that the driver suffered from gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said witnesses told officers that 3 men approached the man in his car and one of them shot the victim. The victim, according to police, then tried to drive away after getting shot, but he crashed.

Police said the suspects were “young adults” and that they ran away after the shooting incident. No arrests have been made in this incident.
