LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Power has been restored to hundreds of customers in the south valley after an outage Tuesday morning.
According to NV Energy, the outage was caused by an underground equipment failure. Around 9:30 a.m., more than 831 customers were affected near Eastern and 215, but that number fell to just around 15 by 12:30 p.m.

At its height, the outage appeared to be made up of three separate outages that sat on the border of two zip codes, affecting 606 customers in the Green Valley South area, and 223 customers near between 215 and the Strip.
Power is expected to be full restored to the area by 3:30 p.m.
