LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is releasing new numbers from a weekend DUI blitz after multiple agencies teamed up to target impaired drivers.
Officers from Bolden and Downtown Area Commands, Traffic, 911 Communications, Henderson Police, Park Police, Nevada State Police and on-scene phlebotomists hit the roads, resulting in 91 citations, 24 DUI arrests, one other arrest, one recovered firearm and 32 vehicles towed.

Police are reminding drivers they’re towing cars and taking people off the road if they’re impaired, saying driving is a privilege, not a right, and there are plenty of safe options instead of getting behind the wheel drunk or high.
