LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Nevada Coin Mart Owner and figure in the Las Vegas community, Neil Sackmary, has died. He was 52.
According to an obituary, Sackmary died Monday. The nonprofit organization says he was a long-time supporter of other organizations. He was most notable for being a voice in the community.
“His passing was both unfortunate and unexpected,” the organization said. “We are in communication with his wife and family members.”
IPOF President Alexander Cuevas said Sackmary was best friends with the previous president, Eric Lloyd.
“Neil has held several fundraisers for fallen and injured officers at his business,” Cuevas said. “These officers included, most recently, NLVPD Officer Jason Roscow. He also hosted a talk show with Nevada state troopers.”
