LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Two suspects have been arrested following a multi-agency investigation into an illegal retail fencing operation suspected of buying and selling more than $100,000 in stolen merchandise, Las Vegas police report.
Detectives with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Organized Retail Crime section spearheaded the bust after uncovering illicit activities happening in the Spring Mountain corridor.
Investigators initially received information that a commercial business operating near Spring Mountain Road and Decatur Boulevard was systematically purchasing and reselling stolen retail goods.

Undercover detectives gathered extensive evidence of the operation, which was allegedly liquidating a wide array of stolen commodities. Among the recovered items were stolen designer clothing, children’s toys, alcohol, high-end jewelry, and various other retail merchandise.
While the currently recovered goods are valued at more than $100,000, detectives are still documenting inventory and expect the final valuation to rise, police said.
The scope of the investigation quickly widened beyond the Spring Mountain storefront. Detectives executed subsequent search warrants, leading them to a second commercial site operating near Tropicana Avenue and Jones Boulevard, as well as a private residential property near Flamingo Road and Jones Boulevard.
Both suspects, whose identities have not yet been released, were booked on multiple felony charges relating to the possession and sale of stolen property.
