LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Two firearms were recovered Tuesday after an incident at a North Las Vegas high school, Clark County School District officials say.
Canyon Springs High School was placed on lockdown after dismissal on Tuesday when a school administrator noticed several people in the parking lot who were not students.
School administration notified Clark County School District police, who responded to investigate.

The individuals fled when approached by police and were pursued. CCSD police recovered a firearm in an athletic field on campus and an additional firearm off campus.
CCSD police arrested two individuals who were not associated with the campus.
There are no reported threats to students or the school.
Students who were on campus for after-school activities were kept inside until police deemed the area safe to resume normal operations.
Principal Adam Canfield sent a message to families Tuesday encouraging students to report any perceived threat through SafeVoice, a school administrator, or to law enforcement.
