LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Vegas Golden Knights are set to host the Utah Mammoth Wednesday night in Game 5 of their first-round NHL playoff series, with the matchup tied 2-2.
Vegas is 39-26-17 overall and 21-13-9 at home, with a plus-22 goal differential after scoring 264 goals and allowing 242, according to stats provided by the Associated Press.
The Golden Knights won the teams’ most recent meeting 5-4 in overtime on Monday, with Brett Howden scoring twice.
Utah is 43-33-6 overall and 22-18-3 on the road. The Mammoth are 43-11-1 in games in which they score at least three goals.
Jack Eichel leads the Golden Knights with 27 goals and 63 assists. Mark Stone has seven goals and three assists over the past 10 games, the Associated Press reported.
Dylan Guenther has 39 goals and 34 assists for Utah. Nick Schmaltz has six goals and three assists in his past 10 games.
Game 5 is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. at the T-Mobile Arena.
