LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas resorts are rolling out all-inclusive packages in response to complaints about rising costs.
Both Strip and Downtown Las Vegas properties have started offering packages within the last few weeks that bundle room stays with food, drinks and other perks at a single price.

“Consider this like an all-inclusive cruise,” said FOX5 reporter Kim Passoth. “You get your night stay at whatever resort, you get food, you get drinks, other perks, like the High Roller is included in one of them.”
The packages range from $100 to $400 per night.
Caesars Properties and MGM Properties are both offering all-inclusive deals on the Strip. Station casinos are offering deals for locals, including no resort fees at Sunset Station for those who show ID.
Tourism numbers down
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority has released numbers showing travel to Las Vegas is down. Airport numbers also reflect the decline.
Passoth said tourists at the Welcome to Fabolous Las Vegas Sign told her they love coming to Las Vegas, but it has gotten too expensive, and they would visit more often if there were more affordable deals.
“It’s really key to attract more tourists back here to Las Vegas,” Passoth said. “These all-inclusive packages are pretty great across the board… a little something for everybody.”
International tourism took the biggest hit, particularly Canadian visitors.
The packages are an attempt to attract budget tourists back to Las Vegas. The LVCVA website has a list of available deals.
Gaming numbers showed downtown Las Vegas was up, which may be related to lower costs compared to the Strip.
