LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Nye County Sheriff’s Office participated in a two-day multi-agency interdiction operation that resulted in multiple arrests and narcotics seizures.
The operation included the Nevada Highway Patrol and Homeland Security Investigations. The agencies targeted illegal narcotics trafficking and criminal activity along highways.

On the first day, deputies conducted 25 traffic stops and 11 searches. They issued 12 citations, generated two criminal cases and made three arrests. K-9 units were deployed six times.
Deputies seized approximately 12.18 grams of methamphetamine and two firearms during the first day.
On the second day, deputies conducted seven searches and issued 10 citations. They generated four criminal cases and made six arrests. K-9 units were deployed nine times.
Deputies seized approximately 32 grams of methamphetamine and four pill bottles during the second day.
