HENDERSON (FOX5) — Sunset Station reopened the Gaudi Bar and gaming pit in the heart of the casino floor Saturday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the latest milestone in the Henderson property’s ongoing transformation.

The reopening comes as Sunset Station continues to roll out updates across the property, including a refreshed brand identity, updated casino spaces, new dining and entertainment concepts and additional enhancements throughout the year.

“Gaudi Bar has always been one of the signature spaces at Sunset Station, and we’re excited to welcome guests back to an elevated version that still honors the character people know and love,” said Lee Torres, vice president and general manager of Sunset Station.

The reimagined Gaudi Bar features a sculptural round bar crowned by a hand-blown crystal chandelier from Preciosa International, complemented by a circular rippled metal ceiling. The backlit stained-glass skylights, jewel-tone lounge seating, communal tables, new carpeting, hanging televisions and multiple entrances add to the energy of the bar. The space was designed by Station Casinos’ in-house design and construction team in partnership with DezMotif.

To celebrate its reopening, Gaudi Bar will feature live DJ entertainment throughout grand opening weekend, with performances on Friday, May 22 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.; Saturday, May 23 from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.; and Sunday, May 24 from noon to 5 p.m.

The bar debuts nine all-new cocktails, including La Sagrada, Gaudi Bar’s signature cocktail inspired by Antoni Gaudí’s Sagrada Família basilica. The Spanish twist on a margarita blends blanco tequila with Licor 43, citrus, agave, a float of Rioja and a touch of orange salt for $16.

The updated Gaudi pit opened Thursday, May 14, bringing table games back to the center of the casino floor. The table games experience includes local friendly minimums and 3:2 blackjack and an all-new $5 minimum bet Electronic Craps table played on a traditional felt, and additional craps and baccarat tables.

Sunset Station also announced plans for all-new bingo and keno spaces, Leticia’s Cocina & Cantina restaurant, and Sunset Bar, a new lobby bar experience. Those additions will debut late 2026. Stoney’s Sunset, a 19,000-square-foot entertainment venue, will open this summer.
