LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Five people were transported to local hospitals Saturday after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Lake Mead Boulevard and Walnut Road in Las Vegas.
Injuries ranged from minor to critical, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

LVMPD traffic officers responded and took over the investigation. Lane restrictions remained in place at the intersection Saturday as the investigation continued.
Drivers were advised to avoid the area.
