LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A house fire broke out Monday evening in a two-story residence, sending one person to a local hospital and displacing five occupants, according to the Henderson Fire Department.
The fire was reported at approximately 6 p.m. The blaze started in the garage and extended into the laundry room.

One person was transported to a local hospital for smoke inhalation. No other injuries were reported.
The American Red Cross was requested to assist five displaced occupants.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
