LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Bahama Llama and Como T. Llama helped Lindsay Skolnik celebrate the start of her collaboration with Cafe Lola on Hualapai after a cease and desist order from Clark County to halt customer pickups from their doorstep.
“Cafe Lola’s media team was able to secure the llamas,” Skolnik explained. “I kind of just requested it. I was like, ‘Is there any way?’”
Along with the llamas were hundreds of people lined up outside the cafe to try Skolnik’s cinnamon rolls.

“I’m speechless,” Skolnik said after arriving to find the huge crowd. “I got here this morning and there’s already a line wrapped around the building.”
“I got here at 6 p.m. yesterday,” customer Jess Sforza said. “I know that these cinnamon rolls are super hard to get. They’ve been pretty viral.”
Sforza was first in line, but the people behind her did not mind waiting a while.
“I’ve had Mama Llama’s cinnamon rolls before when she was selling out of her house,” John Turner, who waited about an hour for his roll, said. “Everything about it is so well put together. The buttery texture on your palate is just amazing.”
“I came out to support another small business owner,” Nicole Barrett, who owns jewelry and gift store Fresh Hope Creations, said from the back of the line. “I’ve heard they’re absolutely amazing. And I also love that there are clean ingredients.”
Skolnik says she’s looking forward to the future, but does not have anything specific planned.
“I think with what I’ve been through, at this point, I’m taking everything day by day,” she said. “I really don’t know what the future holds, but I know that it’s probably going to be big.”
