LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Athletics recalled left-hander Jacob Lopez from Triple-A Las Vegas and reinstated infielder Jacob Wilson from the 10-day injured list, the club announced.

Right-hander Kade Morris and catcher Brian Serven were optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas in corresponding moves.

Lopez opened the season with the A’s and went 4-3 with a 6.75 ERA in 12 appearances, including 10 starts, before he was optioned June 2, the A’s said.

In 50 2/3 innings, he walked 33 and struck out 38 while posting a 1.84 WHIP and allowing a .294 opponents’ batting average, according to the club.

With the Las Vegas Aviators, Lopez is 2-2 with a 7.20 ERA in four starts. In his most recent outing Wednesday, he struck out eight and allowed one earned run on five hits over 5 1/3 innings, according to the press release.

Wilson missed the last 10 games because of right thumb inflammation and did not require a rehab assignment, the team said.

In 50 games this season, Wilson is batting .277 with 10 doubles, four home runs and 26 RBIs. The A’s said the 2025 All-Star shortstop has a 90-game errorless streak, the longest by an A’s shortstop, the club reports.

Serven was selected by the A’s on July 4 and started Sunday at catcher. He finished 1 for 4 with a strikeout in a 9-8 loss to the Miami Marlins.

Morris was recalled June 29 and pitched that day against the Los Angeles Dodgers. He worked 3 innings in each of his two relief appearances June 29 and July 4, allowing 10 hits and four earned runs with one home run, three walks and two strikeouts. Morris was first called up June 2 and made his major league debut June 6 in Houston.
