LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Three men were convicted last week of participating in a conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl in Las Vegas, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

The Justice Department said a federal jury found Darrell Glen Harris, Joey Lamar McRoyal and Lamar Deshawn Rosser guilty following a trial in the District of Nevada.

According to court documents and evidence presented at trial, the department said the conspiracy lasted from August 2022 through June 20, 2023, and involved 50 grams or more of methamphetamine and 40 grams or more of fentanyl. Both are Schedule II controlled substances, the department said.

Harris supplied McRoyal and Rosser with methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine and other controlled substances for distribution in Las Vegas during the conspiracy, the Justice Department said.

Harris was convicted of conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute, the department said.

McRoyal and Rosser were convicted of conspiracy to distribute, distribution of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, the department said.

Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 1, 2026. The statutory maximum penalty includes life in prison, lifetime supervised release and a fine of up to $10 million, the department said.

The DEA’s Las Vegas District Office investigated the case, according to the Justice Department.
