LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Nevada Office of Traffic Safety released its June 2026 State Fatal Report, revealing a decrease in deadly crashes.
From the beginning of the year through the end of June, the state has seen 167 traffic deaths. Officials say that’s down 16.5% from last year.

43 of the deaths were pedestrians, and 26 were unrestrained motorists. Officials say impairment and speeding were the top contributing factors.
Officials say 2026 data will not be final until early 2028.
