HENDERSON (FOX5) — Officials are on the scene of a semi tractor-trailer crash that’s blocking an on-ramp along a local freeway Friday afternoon.
According to Nevada State Police, the southbound I-11 on-ramp to southbound State Route 582 (Boulder Highway) is closed following a rollover crash involving a semi tractor-trailer loaded with dirt that occurred just before noon.
The driver of the semi was transported to the hospital in critical condition, officials add.
The ramp will remain closed for an unknown duration as crews work on removing the non-hazardous load. Drivers are urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes, if possible.
