LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A Clark County grand jury has indicted Hope for Prisoners CEO Jon Ponder on sexual assault and kidnapping charges related to accusations from seven women.

According to the indictment filed Wednesday, Ponder was indicted on 25 felony and misdemeanor charges related to assaults on female prisoners that occurred between Jan. 1, 2015 and March 16, 2026.

Ponder was initially out of custody on house arrest, but following the indictment, a judge set his bail for $1.5 million with continuing house arrest under electronic monitoring. He is also ordered to have no weapons, make no contact with any victims involved, and surrender his passport.

Ponder is due back in court for his initial arraignment on the new charges on Monday, Oct. 5.
