LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A Las Vegas man has pleaded guilty to bank robberies in January 2025 across the valley, according to the US Department of Justice.
The DOJ said Denzel Jones pleaded guilty to three counts of armed bank robbery. Court documents say that from January 9 to 25 last year, Jones robbed a bank in North Las Vegas and a bank and credit union in Henderson.

Officials say he used a BB gun as a display of force and caused employees fear.
“Violent crime has no place in our community. Armed robberies terrorize innocent employees and bystanders,” said First Assistant United States Attorney Sigal Chattah for the District of Nevada. “Our office will continue to aggressively prosecute anyone who uses a firearm to threaten, intimidate, or steal.”
The DOJ said Jones faces a maximum statutory penalty of 75 years in prison. Sentencing is scheduled for October 8.
