LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — One person is dead and two others are hospitalized following a crash between a passenger vehicle and a semi-truck Friday morning, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department stated that officers are currently on the scene of the crash near Highland Drive and Edna Avenue, off I-15 and Desert Inn Road.

According to police, one occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two other individuals were transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation, police said. Drivers are asked to avoid the area due to the active investigation and potential traffic delays.
