LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A driver is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries after a crash that sparked a fire early Monday, police said.
Officers and fire personnel responded around 2:26 a.m. to the area of Highland and Western Drives, near I-15. Officers on scene and fire crews worked to extract the passenger from the burning vehicle.

Both occupants were transported to an area hospital. The driver is listed in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. No update on the passenger’s condition was included in the initial report.
